“ I want to hear your story and help you tell it!”

Amanda Koster is an acclaimed photo and multimedia journalist for national editorial,
corporate, and NGO clients. She has a natural style and was featured in PDN as a
leading multicultural photographer.

Amanda has worked in over 20 countries, in nearly every circumstance. This gives her the
ability to gain immediate familiarity and trust while photographing anyone, helping
people feel at ease throughout the photo, video or audio shoot.

Clients include The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Int’l YWCA, The New York Times,
Newsweek, Entrepreneur, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Business Week. She has
photographed projects for Microsoft, Procter and Gamble, and Costco. She is working with
the NYU Dept. of Global Health creating multi-media content for software to serve HIV/AIDS
patients in Kenya.

In addition to her commercial career she avidly peruses personal projects. Her book
“Can I Come with You?” (Bennett & Hastings, 2008) is a collection of over a decade of
her international social documentary projects, and excerpts from her personal journals.
She invited regularly as an industry speaker and representative worldwide.

Amanda is the founder of SalaamGarage and based in Seattle, USA. Personally she is an avid
mountaineer, known for her x-ray vision, direct communication style and unbreakable spirit.
