With a truly contemporary voice, a unique narrative style and an independent spirit, Anne Faith Nicholls continues to rise as a prominent figure stron...gly associated with today's Contemporary Art & Pop Surrealism movements.

Her signature aesthetic is inspired by her obsessions with surrealist art and photography, colonial European and American folk art, turn-of-the-century antiques, fine and rare art books, history, fashion, nature, animals, new wave music, travel, love, fear, doubt, growth, city living, the news, and her own day-to-day life as a freelance artist.

Anne Faith Nicholls, was born in Victoria, British Columbia in 1979 with a backwards heart. Raised in Seattle, she eventually made her way south, first to San Francisco and then onto Los Angeles where she currently lives and work in her historic Downtown Studio.

Her formal training began at Seattle Pacific University, and continued at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Illustration in 2003. During her time at the Academy of art she also studied abroad on an intensive survey of art history throughout Italy.

Now an acclaimed freelance artist and illustrator, her one-of-a-kind paintings have been displayed in galleries and collections around the world and have earned high praise from art critics, collectors and publications alike.

Not only has she made a name for herself as a prolific painter, but Anne has also amassed an impressive portfolio of clients including VISA, VANS, and KEDS, with her unique artistic contributions to a variety of projects...
