Carbon Country Cultural Project Built c.1850 as a wire mill, and later home to a silk mill, the Carbon County Cultural Project (CCCP) has undergone extensive renovation from its industrial origins to the present arts facility. The Project's Storytelling Workshop in Words and Pictures is a week long event for figurative artists interested in storytelling, taking place in Jim Thorpe, PA (click on link below for dates). Attending artists will find themselves in a 19th century town nestled in among mountains that have served as inspiration for works ranging from the writing and illustrations of Audubon to contemporary graphic novels. Eddie Adams Workshop The Eddie Adams Workshop is an intense four-day gathering of the top professionals in photojournalism, along with 100 carefully selected students. The Workshop's purpose is to create a forum in which an exchange of ideas, techniques, and philosophies can be shared between both established members and newcomers of the profession of picture journalism.
