"Active Life Explorer Print Ad"
Description: The Active Life Explorer is the newest chapter in Namco Bandai’s Active Life video game series that gets kids off the couch and on their feet using their signature mat controller. There’s plenty of treasure to be had in this series of high-adventure mini-games. The spirit of adventure and treasure-collecting played a big part in the work, which used the classic illustrative style of vintage Hollywood movie trailers. The epically fun imagery in the print ad and game packaging immersed the viewer into the world-spanning locations featured in the game. The work also played up the multiplayer, high-energy activity that the mat controller brings to the whole family. Artist: KNOCK, inc. |

"Designers Against Human Rights Abuse"
Description: DAHRA invited me to collaborate on the project Designers Against Human Rights Abuse. In these times, society and the world at large seem to be ruled primarily by suffering, fear, and pain. Although we are living an age of freedom, when we more deeply explore the layers of our reality we discover complex human suffering. My artwork represents how pain, repression, and censure cause the persistence of this negativity. But, despite all the evil that surrounds us, I also feel that it is always possible for hope to emerge in the face of such suffering. Artist: Ana Gomez Bernaus |
