Description: Heavily influenced by Buddhist and Tibetan proverbs, the narrative involves many symbolic animals central to Tibetan culture and religion. The Yak, the Tiger and the Antelope are all Buddhist prayer animals, while the crane is a national symbol in China. Key to the story is the idea that a single voice can influence thousands of others. Dandelion seeds, which have the potential to create thousands of lives while on a journey that may also end in an instant, symbolize the voice of Tibetan activist Dhondup Wangchen.
