Artist Message
Mehdi Haghshenas is a graphic designer and cartoonist; and educator at the Universities of the Arts, Tabriz. Previous to this, he taught at the colleges of Isfahan and Tehran, and given lectures and articles at many national and international conference and journal of fine arts. Mehdi studied graphic design (M.A.) and Iranian traditional design in University of Art, Tehran and University of Art, Isfahan. In 2001, he ranked third in the scientific competition of students in Iran. His works have been represented at every exhibition and biennial. He is a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS); and Tabriz Cartoonists Association, Azerbaijan Cartoon Museum. He is living and working with his wife in Tabriz. |
