Janice Kun

A graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Janice studied painting, photography, printmaking, and textiles. She later developed mixed me...dia drawings and sculptures that have been exhibited in Toronto and in the East Coast.

Her recent leap into illustration has attracted work in editorial, CD album design, motion graphics, and currently t-shirt apparel design. The Broadcast Design Awards 2007 recognized her mural work for MTV Canada with a world gold and silver award.

Passionate about fiction, fashion, music, and street art, her illustrations draw from the texture and rhythmic energy of these media. She threads digital layers onto photographs and hand drawn elements, weaving a distinctive style of mixed media digital work.

When not working on her art, Janice can be found near trees and bodies of water, slowly digging her roots into this hunk of concrete called Toronto. Show more
