Artist Message
Graduating with a Masters Degree from Edinburgh College of Art in 1992, Jonathan Williams has worked in publishing as a designer and art director commissioning some of the UK's most celebrated artists. Inspired and excited by the illustrators he was working with, Jonathan turned freelance himself in 2000. His images now appear in major publications, books and retail outlets across Europe, America and Australia. He has also featured in American Illustration, Graphik, Creative Match, Design Week and the AOI Images annual. In 2006 his images for Virgin Atlantic Airways received a Bronze Award from the Association of Illustrators and his recruitment ads for Ecolab have been recognised with a GRAMIA (Grocery Advertising & Marketing Award).
