PORTRAITS | ADVERTISING | EDITORIAL Los Angeles-based photographer, Kevin Scanlon, strives for variety on his photo shoots. From shoots that last for days to shoots that run for 10 minutes, there are always vast options for photo editors and creative directors to choose from. Scanlon has recently won a couple awards, including first place for the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies' "Feature Photography" category (for select photographs from LA Weekly's 2006 "People Issue") and Los Angeles Press Club's "Special Section" (The "People Issue" won as a whole; Scanlon served as Principal Photographer). A shot of actor Tobin Bell earned Scanlon a spot in Communication Arts' Photography Annual as well. Scanlon's clients include LA Weekly; record companies like Interscope and Virgin; editorial clients like Forbes, Time Magazine, The New York Times, and Guitar World; and advertising clients like Oakland Zoo, FastTrack Footwear, and Liberty Boardshop. No territory is out of reach for Scanlon. He's shot all over California, as well as New York, Arizona, Texas, and elsewhere.
