Linda Sarah

Since graduating from the Slade School of Fine Art, London, I have worked as a freelance artist, both producing and exhibiting work in the UK and Euro...pe, and also running creative workshops for children and adults.

Recently, I have been concentrating on illustration and writing, developing my skills in visual and narrative storytelling. My illustrations are bright, fun and playful and I really enjoy the process of words and images tumbling out together and influencing each other.

I also love creating illustrations for books, newspapers and magazines and welcome the challenge of producing expressive pictures to increase the enjoyment and understanding of articles, poems, stories and reference material.

My work has appeared in Hyphen, Mslexia, Lost At E Minor, New Fairy Tales, Pocketful, Moloko+ and the SCBWI magazine.

Before studying Fine Art, I worked as a singer in Paris - music has always been an incredibly important part of my art. I love travelling with an accordion and fat sketchbook, gathering ideas, songs and stories to create new work... Show more
