Hoang Illustrates For The Scientist Magazine

Aug 16, 2016

Working “fast and furiously” (as he puts it), Dung Hoang mixes collage and photographic montages with mixed media and painting, creating images that evoke deep thought while maintaining an air of spontaneity. Oftentimes focused on the human body and its various mechanisms, Dung’s work has made its way to popular publications such as Men’s Health, GQ, and the New York Times. The images below are from one of his latest collaborations with The Scientist magazine, accompanying an article on the Human Microbiome Project (HMP) and the important role microorganisms have in supporting and maintaining our vital functions.
