Orvidas Depicts Scottish Folklore

Aug 31, 2016

Former art director and current West Coast-based illustrator Ken Orvidas recently added another entry to his personal series, “Myths, Fables and Fantastical Tales”. The latest piece, which is titled “Kelpie”, depicts a shape-shifting water spirit from Scottish folklore that, most commonly taking the form of a horse, relishes in the drowning of travelers. According to legend, it can also take the shape of human beings.
