Paintings by altpick.com member C.M. Thomas are currently featured in the September 2001 issue of Source magazine. The article, titled "All's Quiet," called upon the illustrator to relate the horrifying story of the gang-rape of a mentally challenged thirteen-year-old girl. According to Thomas, his intent for this piece is to "bring the viewer into the soul of this little girl, so that we will be moved enough to get involved with our communities." The September issue is available on newsstands now.
