Jill Calder's illustration plays a major part in the exciting new "Garden Detectives" Exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
This exhibition, part of the Darwin 200 celebrations, is aimed at children and encourages them to get out into their garden and discover what wriggles and lurks in their own back yard!
They can start by playing with all the fun and inventive interactive elements in this exhibit - a magnetic fishing pond and camouflage corner being just two of them.
Jill produced a tonne of illustration for the show - the biggest piece being 8 metres by 2.6metres!
She was also asked to draw several illustrations of birds, insects, and furrier creatures in her trademark inky style, but which were still accurate for educational purposes.
Garden Detectives. Unearthing Nature's little secrets. 26 Jun - 27 Sep. National Museum of Scotland. Admission free!
