Tasked with illustrating the frustrations of a business owner collecting payments in this economy, David Johnson, collaborating with Entrepreneur's Creative Director Megan Roy. They decided to build a sparse office set in which a "business-owner" would spiral downward from a point of contentment with having made a sale to a mounting frustration with waiting longer and longer to be paid.
"It was a great assignment and chance to really illustrate many small business owners' frustrations with waiting for payment. The idea was to make the set feel a little bit like a jail cell."
