Scott Council ran across a blog from a graffiti artist turned barber, Jaytee: http://jtdabarber.blogspot.com and instantly got the idea of taking his cuts and make it part of a show about human expression. "A show that talks about our desire to live, express ourselves and find a bigger meaning.", says Council. The project has now evolved into a documentary film about his journey from high school cuts to taking his tagging to the heads of the people at the chop shop in Bel Ca. These are some of the out takes from that project. Eventually it will be a super graphic oversize print show with close ups in B&W. This first version is to rough and Scott will be shooing again to create more graphic images that reduced the photo's to a form of pop art that really exaggerates the cuts.
