Brian Cummings recently was part of creating a brand from the ground floor up.
Vincent Van Doughnut was a month away from launching when they asked for Brian for some help. VVD owner, Brian Marsden, wanted the brand ("hand made from scratch" artisanal doughnuts sold from a van named Clyde) to feel like a ripped up Ramones t-shirt. Ok. Done. What next? "Can you wrap a 1960 Grumman Olson delivery truck with graphics in two weeks?" "Sure, why not. What I did not expect is how fast things would take off.", says Cummings.
Recently, VVD was a winner on season 2 of Cooking Channel's Donut Showdown. A sweet $10k pay day. Nice dough.
