Photographer Jason Dailey started hitting the skate park this Summer to catch some of the non-traditional athletes there. "I wonder when the universities will start giving scholarships for this?", says Dailey. "I showed up not sure what to expect but right away I noticed the one girl in the park. Grabbed some shots of her and a quick portrait."
Jason went back a few more times looking for any other female skaters, but hasn't seen one yet. Until then, Jason will keep up with the guys at the park. "Some young kids, mostly 20 somethings and a few old school guys like Chuck here. Started a visual diary on it, I’ll add for a while longer before I let it rest."
