Artist Message
Noah Woods is a graduate of UCLA and Art Center College of Design. His children's book TOM CAT (published by Random House) received rave reviews, including being named one of the 10 best picture books of the year by Disney and Scolastic. Barnes and Noble said, "Readers will sit entranced over this debut effort" - calling TOM CAT "a brilliant bold picture book" and the School Library Journal called TOM CAT "simply timeless". The recipient of the Gold and Silver Medals from the Society of Illustrators, Noah's work has appeared in Time, Entertainment Weekly, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Playboy and Newsweek. Woods has also created painting for UNICEF, Coke, Pepsi, AT & T, Yahoo, Microsoft, New York Life, Apple and American Express. Noah has been a guest speaker at events like the National Illustration Conference in Santa Fe and the Visual Communication Speakers Series in Dallas. Currently, he's on faculty at Art Center. |
