Photography around The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is my passion. It is my backyard as the black Canyon South Rim is only 12 miles away.... The goal is to create imaging to include every public accessible viewpoint at the four seasons of the year. The area covers about 1500 square miles which includes Curecanti National Recreation Area and Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area.

A recent event is the Centennial celebration of the opening of Gunnison Tunnel, a 5.8 mile water project which supplies water to the Uncompaghre Valley.

Photography is one of our most important technologies. I am proud to be involved in the production of Location, Landscape and People photography.

Telluride, Colorado New Year Day 1971
New Year Day 1971 in Telluride, Colorado. This historic image shows the main street, looking east at mountains and snow. The Galloping Goose #5 is resting next to the old courthouse. Photo is unusual in that there are no people, it was too cold.
