David Vaaknin

David Vaaknin (b. 1979) took on photography in 2002, while traveling across the U.S. and Latin America. He began his career as a freelance photojourna...list for Israeli media in 2006, after returning to Israel. In addition to covering breaking news events, daily life and the (more than) occasional photo op, David also specializes in documentary, travel, portraiture, and sports photography.
His work appeared in a variety of publications including: The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune, Esquire, MSNBC, Die Zeit, Liberation and others.
