Artist Message
Jungyeon was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and moved to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts where she earned BFA and MFA in Illustration. During her career, she has had the pleasure of working with clients such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, Newsweek, GQ, Billboard Magazine, Harvard Magazine, Facebook, YouTube and Ray-Ban. Her work has been honored by The Art Directors Club, PRINT magazine's 20 under 30, HOW, Communication Arts, American Illustration and Society of Illustrators NY and LA. She currently lives in Seoul, Korea and teaches illustration classes at Kookmin Univ., Hongik Univ. and Sahmyook Univ.
