Artist Message

I am an Austin-based makeup artist, hair and fashion stylist.

My contacts with makeup artists began over 14 years ago when I got my first modeling job for Neiman Marcus. About 7 years ago I started doing makeup for models, as well as my own, and discovered I have a special gift for it. I have worked as a model and makeup artist in all areas of the industry, including fashion, commercial print, TV & film. My experiences both behind and in front of the camera make me a very flexible and well-suited artist for any situation.

Lately I've been really trying to get out of my comfort zone, creatively. If it makes me nervous, or I'm not sure how to pull something off, I'm totally in love with trying that. My goal is for every image of mine to be amazing to the point where people look at it and say, "Wow, I can't have anybody but HER do my makeup.”

I have an outgoing personality, an eye for detail, get along well with everyone I work with, and am always professional. When I work I like to keep it light, and have fun with it. I want to bring beauty to life with the looks I create. My style has been described as fresh and clean, with a unique edge.

After graduating from the Nuvani Institute of Cosmetology, I worked as a Makeup Specialist at the highly acclaimed Jackson Ruiz Salon in Austin.
