Jon Krause illustrated the "The Political Poet" cover for December's Writer's Chronicle. The article described the poetry as simultaneously beautiful and disturbing, the words needing to be churned out from the gut. Acrylic on paper with letraset. "I've heard from the magazine's editor that this picture has received several letters from readers ranging from hatred and disgust to really liking it", says Krause. "Anytime you can provoke a reader to take time and write in about illustration I think its a good thing."
