Colalillo Wins Double Vision Art Contest For Second Consecutive Year

For the second year in a row, Giovannina Colalillo once again became the winner of the annual CAPIC Double Vision art show contest, together with fellow artist and photographer Bo Huang. The piece, titled “Qi (Ch’i)” is representing the “dynamic flowing energy arising through the interplay between Yin and Yang” and is (like the other contributions of the Double Vision contest) the result of a random pairing between two talented artists who in turn have been asked to portray one another in their own, unique style. In this case, Huang’s photograph of Giovannina is cleverly being connected with the help of a blue veil to Giovannina’s stylishly painted portrait of Huang.
