Hanna Barczyk Illustrates Three “Perfectly Awkward Tales”

May 13, 2016

Though German-born illustrator Hanna Barczyk currently spends most of her time between Toronto and New York City, she certainly hasn’t forgotten her European roots, which is something that works as a constant inspiration and is a major part of her conceptual style of illustration.

Lately, Hanna has been working on a unique series of children’s books, titled “Perfectly Awkward Tales”, which focuses on different heroines from around the world who discover their hidden gifts. The series is a collaboration between writers Magdalene Smith, Marisa Smith and Princess Ivana and consists of three books, as well as an additional coloring book (giving children the chance to color scenes from all three adventures).
