Orvidas Illustrates Chronic Dizziness For NY Times

[ Posted: Jun 21, 2016 ]

Ken Orvidas’ illustration for The New York Times brilliantly summarizes an article about a 29 year old teacher who went for several years suffering from chronic dizziness. Diagnosed with “Vestibular Migraines” (manifested in the form of constant dizziness and severe headaches), the man had to rely on more or less addictive drugs, only to get through the day. Today, the man is seeking help from a psychologist specialized in pain and palliative care.
