After having “literally been counting the days”, photographer Lisa Predko was happy to finally share her latest collaboration with Chicago Magazine; shooting both the inside and front cover for their issue on the Best Public Schools in Chicago. It was “a dream job with a dream team”, says Lisa, who worked with design director Kathy Shady on creating their very own version of the movie “The Breakfast Club”. To make this happen, lockers had to be transported and set up in the studio, while the subjects were styled to look like modern versions of their slightly older movie-counterparts. Some of them, according to Lisa, even made sure to watch the film before the shoot in order to get into their respective roles.
