Illustrator Vlad Alvarez was happy to announce that his illustration, originally created for Fort Worth Weekly, has been selected to be part of the Latin American Illustración 5 collection. The image accompanied an article late last year about the US prison system (titled “Not another brick in the wall?”), which talked about reforms being made and the allowing of releasing non-violent offenders earlier than their original sentence.
To top things off, Latin American Illustración also decided to use Vlad’s image as the representative image for their official Facebook page.
