Robert Wilson Photographs The British Prime Minister

Sep 26, 2016

Earlier this summer, photographer Robert Wilson received an opportunity that not many other people in his field get in their lifetimes – to photograph David Cameron, the prime minister of Britain. The shoot, which was made for an article in The Times Magazine, took place in a small library room in Cameron’s home on No. 10 Downing Street. A slight frustration for Robert, who had to walk past many large, wonderful rooms before arriving at the tiny space provided for his practice. On top of that, he wasn’t given more than 8 minutes to complete his assignment. Fortunately, and not unexpectedly, Robert knows how to work with what he has, and proof of this can be seen in the extraordinary final results!
