Sickels’s Part In Making “The Little Prince” Movie Became Reality

Oct 24, 2016

Sometimes, a small role in a big, creative production can have huge effects, both on the production itself and on its creators. Chris Sickels, head of Red Nose Studio, recently shared some info about how he was asked by film director Mark Osborne, back in 2011, to produce visuals for the yet-to-be-made “The Little Prince” movie.

Although Alex Juhaz eventually ended up creating the art for the final production, Chris played a pivotal role in helping Osborne to convince people that the movie could (and should) get made, while at the same time pushing through his comfort-zones and developing as an artist. Chris says: “I played such a nominal role in this 'ginormous' project, but to me it was a big step into a field I have always been curious about. (which is character design and development)”.
