Illustrator Mark Smith was honored and excited to announce that two of his earlier pieces for Tor.com and Simon & Schuster has been selected for the annual Society of Illustrators 59 exhibition in New York City next year. In his announcement, Mark also made sure to thank both the judges and the art directors he worked with, Irene Gallo (Tor.com) and Jaya Miceli (S&S), for helping him “avoid a ‘real’ job for another year”.
In addition to his winning pieces, Mark also shared a more recent illustration, titled “Neoliberalism”, which we think is just as brilliant!
