Turning Envisions Classic Poetry With A Modern Twist

Kate Turning’s love for mending classic themes with modern, fun and imaginative subjects is ever-present in her photographic art. Her latest piece is a contrasting mix between motion and stillness, with vibrant colors and a subject in motion playing off the stillness of the full moon.
To her image, Kate provides a quote from 13th century poet and Sufi mystic, Rumi:
“Thirst drove me down to the water
where I drank the moon’s reflection.”
