Davide Bonazzi recently shared this beautiful two-part illustration(s) he made for an article in Columbia University Medicine magazine. The article brings up the case of a mother who lost her 13-year-old son to bone cancer and talks about treatments that can help people get out of their “complicated grief”, bringing back a life of joy and satisfaction. The article (full version linked below) was written by Sharon Trevaskis and the illustrations were commissioned by art director, Eson Chan.
