“23 Skidoo” by Kimberley Wiseman

Apr 04, 2017

There are certainly a number of different reasons why many artists gather in New York City; one of them being the unlimited source of inspiration that the city provides. Illustrator Kimberley Wiseman, who both lives and works in The Big Apple, recently shared a new piece she created using pen and ink, which depicts the instantly recognizable “Flatiron” building. We only hope that her caption for the image, “23 skidoo”, which is an early 20th century slang for “leaving quickly”, isn’t an indication that she’s planning on skipping town any time soon!
