Predko Brings Rural Upstate New York to Chicago

May 01, 2017

Sometimes, when there’s no way of getting to a location on time, you’re just going to have to make the location come to you. This is exactly what happened when Lisa Predko recently photographed “Ask Amy” columnist, Amy Dickinson, for an interview in Chicago Magazine; not being able to take her entire crew to Amy’s home in rural upstate New York, Lisa was forced to work out a way of creating the same environment in her Chicago-based studio. The final result, as seen below, definitely delivered. With some help from people like her stylist, Amber Halaka, and Rob Christopher from Emotive Reclaim, Lisa was able to portray Amy in a wonderful recreation of her home, complete with essential details like wooden fences and a mailbox sitting inside a giant creamer!
