Jing Jing Shares Covers For New Children’s Book About Hawaiian Birds

May 08, 2017

“What a treat to start the year working on images of these beautiful creatures from a place we'll always think of as home”, said illustrator Jing Jing, who was excited to announce the soon-to-be publication of two new children’s books she recently worked on; one that’s about birds in Hawaii and one about fish.

Though she cannot share too much information about the two books just yet, she did show her followers a couple of versions that are currently under consideration for the cover of “Birds in Hawaii”. The first one, which depicts a red feathered fellow, is an Hawaiian Honeycreeper, while the second is called a Pueo — a subspecies of the short-eared owl. Looking at both the contestants, we can at least feel assured that whichever gets to decorate the book is going to be magnificent!
