There are people that care strongly about politics and there are those that don’t care at all, and then there are some that only pretend to care for their own, selfish reasons. These, in modern tongue, are called “Virtue Signallers”, and they’re the topic of a recent article in British GQ, titled “How to Spot the Virtue Signaller”. Accompanied by a magnificent illustration made by Altpick-member, Jonathan Williams, the article offers a more in-depth explanation of the term and humorously describes some of the “tells” that can help give away this so-called “armchair revolutionist”.
