May 25th was the official opening for this year’s first Open Show at SF Cameraworks in San Franscisco, showcasing works from a selected number of photographers that included Altpick member Nicolo Sertorio.
This time around, the show displayed one of Nicolo’s fantastic photographic series, titled “(Dis)Connected”. In his own words, Nicolo describes the series as being “based on the idea that the current sense of disenfranchisement derives from the fundamental disconnect we have from the natural world and the social isolation that comes with it.“ Additional images from the series, along with a more in-depth description about the project, can be found in the links at the bottom of this page.
