Covering the poster for the new show “Et Si on Chantait la Paix?” (roughly translated: “And if we were to sing peace?”) by the Italian group Incanto is a wonderful, new illustration made by Umberto Grati.
As the poster suggests, the upcoming show will start next year, featuring Italian music from the end of World War I, as 2018 marks a full century since the initial peace treaty was made. The songs featured are meant to showcase the collective commitment that was needed to end the war by telling stories of both the people who went into battle and those who faced their day-to-day struggles at home.
