“How to Argue Well” is the title of Mark Smith’s latest illustration, made for Missouri Uni’s alumni magazine. Using political discourse as an example, the article talks about how arguing can be done with both passion and civility, and how it’s being taught to its students.
This is brilliantly reflected in Mark’s image, where both characters, after having chiseled out their individual arguments in the rock, are more than happy to shake hands by the end of it.
