Whether it’s for the fact that it’s now easier to keep in touch with the people we care about or reaching out to wider audiences and making new friends, there’s definitely more than a few benefits to today’s social media. But that doesn’t mean it comes without downsides; Real Psychology Magazine recently wrote an article on the benefits of (actual) human contact and how this is one of the major things that new social tech is lacking.
