The recent hearings with Facebook-creator, Mark Zuckerberg, in connection to all the events surrounding the 2016 Presidential Election and “fake news” stories, certainly has put a harsher spotlight on the social media company. What started out as a small incentive to connect people with one another has grown into something much larger over the past decade, and its influence on world politics has now been put to hard questioning.
Are there cracks showing in the facade? Alexei Vella’s latest piece, “Cracks Are Forming”, seems to suggest as much, with a clever and no doubt literal depiction of the company’s current state.
