Bank Street College of Education has included Feathers and Hair by Jennifer Ward, published by Simon and Schuster 2017 in it’s 2018 Best Children's Books of the Year list. In describing Jing Jing’s illustrations for Feathers and Hair, Kirkus says, “The art invites gazing and revisiting…” and ”The artwork is spectacular…” Feathers and Hair has also won a Parent’s Choice Silver Award and is on the New York Library’ 2017 Best Books for Kids and Teens List.
