Puschmann Re-Visits His Inner Child

Mar 21, 2019

Vroom vroom! Photographer Simon Puschmann got to re-live early childhood memories with his latest shoot, which sees a real-life car set onto the streets of a classic car rug. With a little help from pieces of cardboard and Adobe Photoshop, Simon managed to create the illusion of shadows falling from buildings and trees that are in reality set on a completely flat surface. “All smoke and mirrors” he said, while also giving props to the post-production work of TaylorJames Automotive. As for the “car-pet” (sorry…) in question, Simon reminisced his own time of pushing cars around, causing crashes and traffic jams, while adding: “I hope this tradition won´t be replaced by an iPad ever.”
