Dan Bejar illustrated the cover and an interior illustration for the May 2019 issue of Harper's Magazine. The illustrations were for the cover story "Where Our New World Begins: Power, Politics, and the Green New Deal." by Kevin Baker.
The cover illustration, "On the Fence," focused on the transition into the world where the Green New Deal exists, and the interior illustration, "Power to the People," shows a world where there is a new green economy and green jobs for all.
