Puschmann Presents New “Wasteland” Photo Series

Dec 11, 2019

“Wastelands” is the exciting and highly creative new project by photographer Simon Puschmann. By spending 90 minutes in one place collecting the things that people have thrown away (and disinfecting it!), Simon is not only helping to make this world become just a little bit cleaner but also documenting the general habits of various inhabitants all over the globe. Carefully assorted into neat grids, we get a clear over-arching look of the day-to-day objects used in places like Munich, Singapore’s Little India, Johor Bahru (Malaysia) and Wacken Open Air, the world’s largest heavy metal festival.

We’re very excited to see what other places will be added to this ever-growing series. For now, be sure to check out the recently shared behind-the-scenes interview which goes further in-depth in explaining Simon’s process and how the project came to be.
