Ever wondered why some of your book covers capture that perfect tone of mystery, drama and/or suspense? Well, many times it has to do with the chosen setting or the curious silhouette of that anonymous figure portrayed in the foreground. For those who don’t know, these characters and sceneries are often collected from perfectly shot stock imagery (also used for posters and marketing), just like the ones found in Altpick-member Paul Gooney’s Figurestock library.
