Staying at home for too long can amplify just about anyone’s itch to explore the great outdoors (as long as it’s not near crowds, of course), as we’ve seen with many self-isolated photographers living close to nature. For Jason Burfield, that meant getting out of the house for a few moments to photograph a beautiful sunset behind the Fire Island bridge, as well as the warm glow from a nearby lighthouse. The pandemic may continue, but at least we have the means of sharing and enjoying these images from the comfort of our homes!
