It’s common knowledge that though talent and innovation may be born just about anywhere, it does seem to cluster in a small number of big cities. Companies such as General Electric have seen major advantages of moving to bigger urban areas (in their case from Fairfield, Connecticut, to Boston) as mentioned in Harvard Business Review’s article on the matter.
